This position will be based in our Uniondale, NY office located in a business and educational hub of Long Island. Job Duties include building complex computer database systems and developing a blueprint to write and code logical and physical database access descriptions; designing, creating, testing and maintaining the existing customer databases and database management systems. Making necessary modifications to the existing databases based on customer’s needs and specify identifiers for database management systems; map the system and interfaces used to manage data, database accessibility, performance and replication; work with database administrators and analysts to secure access to company data, safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure and preparing design reports; translating business and data requirements into domain, logical and physical models.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Information Systems or Computer Engineering.
