For a Major Global Computer Manufacture & Supplier, their customers send and receive an average of 30,000 EDI transactions a month ranging from 850, 810, 856 to 846, 867 etc. Their challenge was to process these transactions in an efficient and cost effective manner. EC Infosystems stepped up to the plate by developing an integrated EDI Processing System using Mercator and Trading Partner. This system allowed them to receive Purchase Orders, send Invoices and Advance Ship Notices known as Shipping Manifesto in the old paper environment as well as send and receive Inventory Inquiry/Advice and Product Transfer and Resale Reports.

For a Prestigious Internet Software Company we were challenged with developing an EDI Clearinghouse System for its customers. The client’s charter was to be a facilitator of a Commodities Exchange where various buyers would buy and sell their commodity through this Exchange over the Internet. EDI was chosen as the transport vehicle. EC Infosystems was called in to spearhead the project having extensive expertise in EDI and the commodity. We performed business requirements analysis and came up with Functional Specifications. Once the specs were approved by senior management, EC Infosystems performed Systems Analysis and Design and created a RAD Prototype. Next to follow were systems development and testing using Mercator and Trading Partner. Integration with their legacy systems was indeed a challenging but a rewarding experience.
