Deregulation in the Energy Industry has opened up many opportunities for organizations that wish to provide services to the end consumer. As a result of deregulation there will be a dramatic increase in the flow of business transactions between the Utility and Energy Service Providers ( ESP ). The Utilities are requiring that ESPs send and receive these documents via Electronic Data Interchange ( EDI ). A large number of ESPs do not have the capability to send and receive EDI transactions to and from these Utilities. Utilities in California used a proprietary standard California Metering Exchange Protocol ( CMEP ) till recent times to send and receive customer enrollments, drops, changes, meter reading etc.
EC Infosystems has addressed this need of ESPs to exchange business transactions with Utilities in a simple, efficient and cost effective way. We are offering a host of services in the area of EDI in the Energy Industry and support GISB ( Gas Industry
Support Board ) and North American EDI Standards Board ( NAESB ) protocols. |
